Sleepwalks and dog masks

Small Ghosts has hatched the third incarnation of Sleep Walks, their wonderful literary compilation/chapbook, available everywhere in these two locations: at Shelf Life books in downtown Calgary and online in their store. I also have about a dozen copies I can mail to you at a price of your choosing if so interested. I've deposited three tiny flowers in this issue. Here is one, take a look!

Also, if you happen to be in Calgary at the end of June, two films I wrote and scored will be screening at the Sled Island festival... after being mercilessly rejected at about a dozen others. Dog Mask will be showing on Monday, June 18, in the showcase. None Such Place is in the competition and will be screened Wednesday, June 20. Both films were directed by Hussein Juma.

As a post-script, if you like or detest Michel Houellebecq, I had a little review of his latest, The Map and the Territory, in the April 26 (2012) issue of FFWD, here.

are like saturns

Here is page 10 from "Eelsong", unlettered and uncoloured. In which a saturnine J. attempts to steal a glance from the amputee harpist Octavia.

Progress is slow. I have been simultaneously colouring what I had hoped to be the final version of "Between Two Horses", whose appellation I grow weary of, implying a conversation between equine chums, where my intentions were merely geographical. My hope is that this elusive, 7 page sprite will be available for purchase by the end of June. Here is the first page. In which a pensive perambulator sights a mysterious passageway in another man's ear.
